Emily Walters
Emily is an HCPC registered freelance dietitian with specialist interest in malnutrition. Her portfolio career builds on over 2 decades of clinical and leadership roles in the NHS and completion of an NIHR clinical academic fellowship. She has a PhD in Health Sciences and MSc in Leadership and Management. Emily’s strong interest in ‘growth mindset’ is reflected in the delivery of innovative practice-based learning and provision of mentoring and coaching. She is a visiting a university lecturer and skilled in delivering projects and research. Her significant leadership experience is utilised as a British Dietetic Association (BDA) Non-Executive Director and Chair of the BDA Professional Committee, alongside voluntary roles as BAPEN’s Malnutrition Officer and membership of the Advisory Committee for Borderline Substances (ACBS). She is also a Partner of the Health and Care Professions Council.

ELlie Coles
Ellie is an HCPC registered freelance dietitian with specialist interest in dietetic education & education technology. She combines her extensive dietetic experience in the NHS, private practice & higher education sectors to help influence the future of dietetics through providing mentorship and innovative educational practice-based learning opportunities to dietetic learners in the UK. She is a visiting lecturer across three UK Universities, teaching across dietetic & healthcare programmes. Ellie has been the Education Officer for the Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Group (PENG) of the British Dietetic Association since 2020 as well as sitting on BAPEN’s Malnutrition Action Group and Education Committee.
